Job Opening Submission Questions

Who can post a job opening?

Any brother of Alpha Rho Chi, or friend of Alpha Rho Chi may post a job opening.  It is requested that each brother list his or her chapter affiliation.  For those who are not brothers, it is requested that they send a message to us saying how they found out about us. 

Now that I’ve submitted my job opening, when will it go public?

All job openings will be screened by one of our moderators and go live within 24 hours of initial submittal.

What will the moderator do with my listing?

It’s the moderator’s job to approve and proofread all listing requests. 

What job listings won’t be approved?

The Alpha Rho Chi national job board is open to all types of job openings.  However, because of the nature of our organization, non-specific listings from broad headhunting companies will not be approved. 

How long will my job listing be posted?

All job openings will be posted for 30 days.  However, the initial job poster will receive a message one week prior to the expiration date that will allow him or her to extend the listing an additional 30 days.

Job Searcher Questions

How do I sort the job listings?

When the job board is first opened, it will be sorted by submission date.  However, clicking on the title bar will sort the listings.  For example, if you would like to find a job in a specific state, click on the “location” title. 

Something seems wrong with one of the listings.  Who do I contact?
